1,5 megawatt photovoltaic park in Angern an der March

A huge success for the photovoltaics expert enerXia: the company has been awarded the contract to build one of the largest photovoltaic parks in Austria. By August, the 6122 PV modules will be mounted on 30,000 sqm in Angern an der March.

The many solar cells will be converting sunbeams into at least 1500 kWp. That is enough to provide sustainable energy for almost 400 households. Solar energy is considered an inexhaustible and especially environmentally-friendly energy source.

“We received the contract because we have been in the photovoltaics business for a very long time, so we can offer the desired competence in this field”, says enerXia founder Gerald Wirtl. “We have gained our experience erecting nearly 100 parks all over Europe“, adds enerXia co-founder and CEO Mario Ebner.

enerXia employs a team of about 30 highly qualified specialists and has locations in Austria, Liechtenstein, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Greece. The PV company will not merely build the park, but maintain it as well, while BSW Solarpark GmbH will operate it.
